The Game

This years competition, Rapid Relay is held on a 6’x8′ rectangular field, designed for a strategic and collaborative experience. In this game, teams work to pass balls between robots, score them through designated targets, and clear switches to earn points.

Balls are introduced through the Loading Station, with another option to use the Rapid Load Zone during the last 15 seconds of the match. Points are awarded based on how many goals are scored, how many switches are cleared, and how many successful passes are made before scoring.

In the Teamwork Challenge, two robots collaborate to score as many points as possible within a 60-second match. Additionally, teams can participate in Robot Skills Matches, where a single robot aims to score under a slightly modified set of rules. More details on this can be found in the Game Manual
